Indonesia sebagai negara majemuk menghadapi berbagai tantangan dari intoleransi dan kekerasan ekstremisme, dalam jangka panjang masalah dapat berdampak terhadap berbagai ketidakamanan di masyarakat.

AMAN Indonesia, UNDP, Dinas Pendidikan Provinsi Jawa Timur, Peace Leader, dan GA4P Indonesia mempersembahkan Kompetisi Video Komedi Damai Berbasis Budaya Lokal Jawa Timur dengan Tema “Kabeh Seduluran, Urip Guyub Geguyonan”

Situbondo dulu dengan Situbondo sekarang berbeda jauh. Toleransi di kota itu terasa sekali. Menurut Ustad Mansyur Arif, salah satu pimpinan ponpes di kota itu dalam sebuah perbincangan, kerukunan umat beragama  telah terwujud setelah 18 tahun lalu, tepatnya pada 1996 terjadi tragedi yang memalukan dam memilukan terjadi di Situbondo, di mana ada pembakaran gereja se-kabupaten Situbondo.
